A family-run firm with pioneering spirit

Since 1867, the family-run firm Schaub & Co has stood for pioneer spirit and entrepreneurial courage. After its founding by the butcher Peter Schaub, what was once a simple shop in Hamburg quickly became a company with international operations. As early as 1889, the first brach was opened in Denmark. Since the beginning of the 20th century Schaub & Co has been one of the leading companies on the German casing market.

In the future as well we will rely on quality. By investing in our production plant in Portugal we aim to increase production capacities in the medium-term by 20 per cent. In the future we indent to continue operating in the market as a reliable partner to the meat products industry and to develop quality products.

Packing takes place according to customer wishes either in vacuum bags, barrels or E2 boxes
